Plot

After losing his job at a Hamburg startup, Jonas struggles to inform his girlfriend Katharina, who is already stressed about her upcoming law exams. Each day, he aimlessly rides the underground, concealing his unemployment. A chance encounter with his former boss, Marc, ignites a fascination that spirals into obsession. To cope, Jonas resorts to lies, which only heighten Katharina's concern as his behavior becomes increasingly erratic. As pressure mounts, Jonas finds himself trapped in a cycle of poor choices, reflecting on the crushing weight of competition and personal failure. Georg Pelzer's debut artfully blends improvisation with a compelling theme of existential dread.
