Plot
Cassie, the new girl, teams up with socially awkward Maggie to change their high school fortunes. They believe that winning the talent show is the key to gaining popularity and attracting the attention of the boys they like. However, their rivals, Heather, Other Heather, and their charming boyfriends Brett and Dirk, are determined to sabotage their efforts and maintain their status as the school’s elite. To overcome the odds, Cassie and Maggie will need to embrace makeovers, summon their courage, and perhaps even break into a rap performance, all while channeling classic 80s vibes.
