Plot

GHOUL delves into the chilling legacy of Andrei Chikatilo, one of the Soviet Union's most notorious serial killers. Three American filmmakers venture to Ukraine to document the cannibalism crisis that plagued the region during the devastating famine of 1932. Their quest leads them into the depths of the Ukrainian forest, where they seek insights from one of the few remaining survivors. However, their journey takes a dark turn as they become ensnared in a terrifying supernatural realm, transforming their documentary project into a fight for survival against unseen horrors.
