Plot

Violet Heaney’s funeral brings her three daughters back home, each grappling with grief in their own unique ways. Teresa, the eldest, turns to herbal remedies, relentless cleaning, and nagging her husband, Frank. Meanwhile, youngest sister Catherine indulges in shopping sprees, heavy marijuana use, and frantic calls to her distant boyfriend in Barcelona. Middle daughter Mary finds solace in emotional distance and a complicated affair with Mike, a married doctor. As they navigate their mother’s death, the sisters realize their memories of childhood are fading, complicating their journey through mourning and reconciliation.
