Plot
Set against the backdrop of a severe drought in North Carolina in 1993, Carl, a teenager on the autism spectrum with a passion for meteorology, believes a storm is imminent. Eager to support her brother’s dream, Sam hatches a plan to chase the storm, leading them to hijack their mother’s ice cream truck for an adventurous road trip. As they journey together, the siblings confront their family's past, seek forgiveness, and discover the importance of pursuing one’s aspirations amidst the challenges they face.
