Plot

Duke Johnson arrives in a small Southern town to lay his brother to rest, only to discover he must remain for 60 days to settle the estate. Encouraged by locals, he decides to revive his brother's nightclub, but soon finds himself targeted by corrupt local police who threaten him and his companion, Aretha, for refusing to pay off their demands. Seeking help, Duke calls his friend Roy, who arrives with a crew to restore order. However, as tensions escalate, Duke realizes he must confront the corrupt authorities directly to reclaim peace in Bucktown.
