Strong to the Finich (1934)

Plot

Olive operates a boarding school where her students are far from thrilled about a massive bowl of spinach she's serving. Enter Popeye, who decides to showcase the wonders of spinach. He feeds it to a tree, causing it to grow impressively and produce a bounty of fruit. A hen also benefits, laying an abundance of eggs after a taste. Finally, Popeye demonstrates its strength firsthand by consuming some spinach, preparing to stand up to a passing prizefighter. His antics transform the students’ perception of the leafy green treat.
