Plot
David Rosen and his wife Becky have spent most of their married life in their Coney Island community. However, the neighborhood has drastically changed, with a gang leader named Strut claiming it as his territory. Strut starts extorting local business owners for "protection" money, resorting to violence against those who resist. David stands firm against paying Strut for his restaurant, leading to dire consequences: his diner is firebombed, many neighbors face attacks, and their synagogue is vandalized, leaving the community in turmoil.
