Plot

TV writer Greg Whitcomb, a war hero, now enjoys a quieter life with his young wife, Katy. When a letter from the war department arrives, Katy suspects it may summon him back to active duty in the Air Force reserves. To protect their anniversary celebration, she discreetly conceals the letter during their festive party. As the evening unfolds, tension simmers beneath the surface, forcing Katy to grapple with the possibility of Greg's return to military life while trying to maintain the joyful atmosphere of their special day.
