Plot

An Afro-American soldier returns to his hometown after serving in the army, haunted by the memory of his brother's execution for the rape and murder of two white girls. Convinced of his brother's innocence, he embarks on a quest for the truth, determined to uncover evidence that could exonerate him. However, as he digs deeper, he faces fierce opposition from locals intent on protecting the dark secrets that linger in their community's history.
