Plot

Douglas Elmore, a struggling alcoholic writer, grapples with haunting visions of his deceased wife while facing supernatural forces seeking vengeance for his past. As tenants mysteriously die within the confines of his brownstone, suspicion falls on Karna, a beguiling homeless woman who lurks in his basement by day and roams the desolate city at night. With each new death, Douglas becomes increasingly obsessed with her, even as he risks being implicated in the murders. To escape the clutches of his dark past and the evil lurking in the Hagstone building, he must uncover the source of the malevolence before it's too late.
