Plot
Frank Martin, a band leader, finds himself on death row after being wrongfully convicted of murdering the owner of a club where he played. He knows he’s innocent, and singer Ruth Chapman can vouch for him with an alibi. However, Ruth has vanished, and records indicate she perished years earlier. While he faces imminent execution, Frank turns to his wealthy girlfriend and his lawyer to help him prove his innocence and uncover the truth behind Ruth’s disappearance.
