The Desert Bride (1928)

Plot

Captain Maurice de Florimont, a French Army intelligence officer, finds himself in peril when Arab nationalists capture him during a covert mission. Along with him, his beloved Diane Duval is also imprisoned. Enduring brutal torture at the hands of Kassim Ben Ali, the nationalists' ruthless leader, both remain steadfast in keeping their secrets. Their harrowing ordeal comes to an end when French troops launch a daring assault on the fortress, ultimately defeating Kassim and liberating the captives from their grim fate.
