The Heavy Load (2015)

Plot

Eleven-year-old Jimmy Spencer feels disconnected from his neighborhood peers, preferring the company of imaginary siblings he creates in his room. His life begins to change when he joins a theater group, finally experiencing joy in friendships. However, when his mother, Jil, falls ill, Jimmy's world shatters. In a desperate bid to help her recover, he believes starring in a movie will inspire her to get better. With determination, he embarks on this ambitious journey, but he encounters numerous setbacks until he crosses paths with someone who changes everything for him.
