Plot

Eighteen-year-old Jess and her twelve-year-old second cousin, Moss, find themselves in the tobacco fields of rural Western Kentucky, isolated from their families and peers. With no one else to turn to, they lean on each other throughout a transformative summer. As they embark on adventures together, they uncover hidden truths and share dreams for the future while grappling with their fears of loneliness, being left behind, and the uncertainty that lies ahead.
