Plot

Trek centers on Tom, a spirited Mormon teen, and his friends as they embark on a challenging handcart expedition. Their adventure is filled with mischief, from sneaking in forbidden snacks to navigating sibling tensions. As they cross paths with a quirky Young Men's leader and a mischievous skunk with a penchant for Twinkies, they also grapple with thought-provoking questions about their faith, such as whether general Authorities watch PG-13 films. However, when unforeseen challenges arise, they find their beliefs and resilience put to the ultimate test, mirroring the trials faced by their pioneer forebears.
