Plot
Thirteen-year-old Yao, hailing from a small village in northern Senegal, is determined to meet his idol, French actor Seydou Tall. When Seydou visits Dakar for a book promotion, Yao seizes the chance to embark on a daring 387-kilometer journey to the capital. Captivated by Yao’s enthusiasm, Seydou unexpectedly abandons his commitments to join the boy on his trek home. As they traverse the rugged terrain of Senegal, Seydou discovers that this adventure not only brings him closer to Yao but also reconnects him with his own cultural roots.
