Monkey Business (2015)

Plot

Set in an orphanage around 1900, the principal schemes to profit by selling the children for labor. The story begins as Wim, one of the orphans, is about to be sold to a cruel man who intends to use him and a monkey for pickpocketing. However, Wim manages to escape with the monkey, finding refuge in an old canal boat, thanks to Jet, a girl from the countryside. At her farm, he meets Jet's little sister Sien and her friend Ot, who care for him and the monkey. When the cruel man tracks Wim down, a thrilling chase ensues, leading to Wim’s re-capture. Just when things seem dire, Jet’s father, a schoolteacher, steps in to help. This heartwarming tale unfolds against the backdrop of the introduction of compulsory education, presented in 3D for the whole family to enjoy!
