In 1982, André Bamberski is devastated by the tragic death of his 14-year-old daughter, Kalinka, while she vacations in Germany with her mother and stepfather. Doubts about the official narrative prompt him to delve deeper, especially after discovering inconsistencies in the autopsy report. He becomes convinced that Kalinka’s stepfather, Dr. Dieter Krombach, is responsible for her death. Frustrated by the lack of legal action in Germany, Bamberski resolves to pursue justice in France, vowing to dedicate himself to bringing Krombach to trial and ensuring his daughter's memory is honored.
