Plot
Set in France in 1893, Joseph Bouvier's life spirals into darkness after his love spurns his marriage proposal, leading him to attempt suicide by gunshot. Released from a grim asylum with bullets lodged in his head, he embarks on a gruesome spree, preying on innocent teenagers over several years. Judge Rousseau ultimately apprehends Bouvier but is more concerned with advancing his own career than delivering true justice, manipulating the situation to ensure Bouvier is deemed insane rather than facing the consequences of his heinous acts.
