Plot

Childhood friends Judah Ben-Hur and Messala reunite under vastly different circumstances; Messala is now a powerful Roman officer, while Judah, a once-wealthy Israelite, faces oppression. A mishap during a Roman parade results in Judah being condemned to the galleys, with his family imprisoned and their possessions seized. After years of survival and servitude, Judah emerges as a celebrated Roman athlete, yet his heart is heavy with the belief that his mother and sister are dead. Consumed by a thirst for vengeance, he sets his sights on confronting Messala and reclaiming his lost family.
