Plot
Don Fabijan, a young priest, arrives at a small Adriatic island, determined to boost its declining birth rate. To achieve his goal, he conspires with Petar, the local newsagent, and Marin, the pharmacist, to sabotage condoms before they reach the public. As they eliminate all birth control options, the islanders' lives spiral into unforeseen chaos. What begins as a misguided attempt to foster community growth quickly spirals into a web of complications, revealing the complexities of faith, love, and human desire in a tightly-knit society.
