Plot
Hank Stamper and his father, Henry, run a logging business in Oregon, defying the town's anger as they persist in their operations amid a local strike. While the other loggers demand the Stampers halt production, Hank remains resolute, prioritizing work over family. His wife longs for more time together and hopes he will reconsider. The situation escalates with the arrival of Hank's half-brother Leland, whose presence complicates family dynamics and intensifies the strain between personal relationships and the relentless pursuit of profit. As tensions rise, the Stamper family's bonds are put to the test.
