Plot

As the ski racers depart Kitzbühel for their next World Cup stop, the Kitzbüheler Ski Club (KSC) begins gearing up for the following year’s competition. “Streif – One Hell of a Ride” captures this year-long effort, showcasing both the grand moments and the smaller tasks involved. Simultaneously, the film follows five athletes—Aksel Lund Svindal, Max Franz, Hannes Reichelt, Erik Guay, and Yuri Danilochkin—as they train in their home countries and spend their leisure time. As the 2014 Hahnenkamm Race draws near, these two storylines intertwine, enriched by tales from the event’s history, culminating in the athletes' return to Kitzbühel.
