Plot
At 14, Alyssa struggles with the aftermath of her mother’s drowning, leading to her suspension from school. In a bid to help, her grandmother Lucy takes her to meet her estranged father, James, who has been unaware of her existence while conducting dolphin communication research in Grand Bahama. As James faces the potential loss of his project to a tourist development, the unexpected reunion brings challenges for both. With support from James's girlfriend and her father, Alyssa learns valuable lessons about connection and understanding, ultimately discovering her own voice through the dolphins.
