Plot
Rogue jewels from London arrive in New York, swiftly snatched by the cunning gangster Ed Dexter, who conceals them with the help of his spirited partner, Vivian Palmer. Federal agent Ross McBride poses as one of Dexter's own to dig deeper, believing Vivian holds the key to the stolen treasures. When a rival gang targets her, Ross steps in, and they find themselves on the run to the Midwest, pursued by both criminal factions. However, Vivian proves to be more resourceful and shrewd than Ross anticipated, complicating their escape.
