Plot

Paul Braconnier and his wife, Blandine, are fixated on one goal: finding a way to kill each other safely. After tuning into a radio program, Paul travels to Paris to consult with a renowned lawyer known for defending murderers. When Paul confesses to the lawyer that he has killed Blandine, the lawyer asks him to detail the events surrounding the incident. Unwittingly, Paul reveals the perfect method for committing the crime while ensuring he has the best chance of evading the death penalty—or even walking away free.
