Plot
Edouard, the head of a sprawling family, faces turmoil as his second wife, Jeanne, struggles with his infidelities and the arrival of their new baby. As their marriage deteriorates, Edouard's daughters grapple with their own challenges. Dina is restless in her relationship with playwright Paul, yearning for a more fulfilling life, while Sidone, married to a fellow musician, battles her stage fright. Seven years later, with Edouard's health in decline, the family confronts their unresolved issues, sharing their dreams, fears, and the weight of their past together.
