Plot

In the summer of 1955, Kamal, an 11-year-old boy from the Medina of Fez, is living through the final months leading up to Morocco's independence. Alongside Aïcha and his fellow students at the Qaraouiyine, he becomes actively involved in the struggle for freedom. These transformative three months will leave a lasting impact on his life.
