Plot

Charles Engle, a struggling businessman, faces exposure for embezzling $3,000 to fund his lavish wife's lifestyle. In despair, he contemplates suicide and writes a farewell note, planning one last escapade. During a fateful night out, he encounters con artist Bill O'Brien and singer Nina Barone, who stumble upon his note. Moved by his plight, they hatch a plan to help him recover the stolen money and prevent his tragic fate, transforming a night of desperation into a chance for redemption and hope.
