Plot
In the spring of 1995, following the shutdown of Needle Park and Zurich's drug scene, eleven-year-old Mia and her heroin-dependent mother, Sandrine, find themselves in a rural setting. As Mia juggles the responsibilities of caring for her mother, she discovers solace in an imaginary friend and a group of local teenage outcasts. These new connections empower her to confront her challenging reality, ultimately inspiring Mia to rebel against her mother's abusive hold and seek a brighter path for herself.
