Plot

Harlem's vibrant community becomes the target of Rev. Deke O'Malley, who deceitfully promises that meager contributions will buy land in Africa. As police officers Gravedigger Jones and Coffin Ed Johnson investigate the con, they discover the stolen cash hidden within a bale of cotton. The situation escalates when the money mysteriously disappears, prompting a chaotic race involving O'Malley, the police, and various other interested parties.
