Space Thing (1968)

Plot

Caught in a world of sci-fi fantasies, a man finds himself seduced by his wife before drifting off to sleep. As he dreams, he transforms into an alien from a parallel universe, infiltrating a spaceship to avert an impending attack on his home planet. The ship's captain engages in steamy affairs with her crew, escalating tensions when she punishes one for pursuing the dreamer. Surrounded by eager women, he ultimately crash-lands on an asteroid—actually the outskirts of Palmdale, California—leading to a chaotic, topless romp before culminating in a hilariously inept explosion of the alien vessel.
