Plot
Set against the backdrop of the Mexican Revolution, Leandro and Odón, two opportunistic war vultures, stumble upon a zebra they misidentify as an American horse. Driven by ambition, they embark on a quest to find General Obregón, hoping that their unusual mount will earn them the rank of colonels. Along the way, the duo encounters a series of misadventures that test their resourcefulness and reshape their understanding of loyalty and friendship. Their journey is as much about self-discovery as it is about their misguided aspirations for glory.
