Plot

Jerry Mason is taken aback upon inheriting the Hotel Splendide in Speymouth, discovering it's a serene establishment with minimal guests. Meanwhile, Gentleman Charlie, a recently released jewel thief, arrives with plans to recover pearls he buried years ago, only to realize that the hotel now occupies that very spot. As both men navigate their unexpected circumstances, the clash of their ambitions sets the stage for a series of humorous and unforeseen events, revealing the hotel's peculiar charm and the quirky characters that inhabit it.
