Plot

Barry Bremen, a novelty goods salesman from Detroit, gained fame in the sports arena as The Great Imposter between 1979 and 1986. With a flair for the theatrical, he impersonated athletes from Major League Baseball and the NBA, played the role of a PGA golfer, and even donned the attire of NFL and NHL referees, as well as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Through his antics, Bremen not only reveled in the limelight but also fulfilled the fantasies of countless aspiring athletes and devoted fans across America.
