Plot

Gunfighter "Brazos" Kane vows to abandon his violent past after tragically killing his closest friend. Seeking a fresh start, he joins Bob Tyrell on the Inskip ranch, only to discover Tyrell's lifeless body. Accused of murder by the powerful Banner, who controls the territory, Kane faces arrest from the corrupt Deputy Sheriff Yount. However, Banner's compassionate daughter, Jane, alerts Inskip, who intervenes just before a lynching occurs. With the sheriff dropping the charges due to insufficient evidence, Brazos embarks on a quest to uncover Tyrell’s true murderer, while Jane's sister Bess complicates matters by feigning interest in him.
