Night Owls (1930)

Plot

Policeman Edgar Kennedy faces the threat of unemployment if he can't put an end to a recent wave of burglaries. In a desperate bid to restore his reputation, he enlists the help of vagrants Stan and Ollie, convincing them to break into the chief's own home. Promising to help the duo avoid punishment afterwards, Edgar sets the stage for a chaotic situation. However, the scheme quickly spirals out of control, leading to unexpected twists and hilarious outcomes that challenge all their intentions.
