Plot

Set in Munich, Germany, in 1923, Edward Elric struggles to adapt after being transported from his world, leaving behind his brother Alphonse and their homeland. Stripped of his alchemical abilities, he partners with Alphonse Heiderich, a young man who bears a striking resemblance to his brother, to explore rocketry in hopes of returning home. When Edward helps a troubled gypsy girl, he unwittingly sets off a chain of events that threaten both his world and Alphonse's. Meanwhile, Alphonse Elric delves deeper into alchemy, determined to find a way to reunite with Edward.
