Bamboo Stories (2019)

Plot

A group of daring men in North-Eastern Bangladesh embark on a perilous journey to navigate a 300-kilometer stretch of river on a massive 70-meter raft. Their cargo? An impressive 25,000 bamboo trees sourced from the Sylhet region’s dense forests. As workers chop down bamboo and expertly maneuver the trunks down treacherous mountain streams, they channel the wood toward the Kushiara River. Once the trunks are bundled into a colossal raft, the team sets off on their challenging expedition, confronting nature's obstacles along the way.
