Plot
A cement truck driver named Danny finds his long-awaited vacation sabotaged by his manipulative girlfriend, Trudy. Seeking escape from his mundane life in suburban Australia, he launches into the sky in a chair adorned with helium balloons. A fierce thunderstorm sweeps him far away to the charming town of Clarence, where he crosses paths with Glenda, the local parking officer. While the media fixates on his disappearance, Danny embraces a fresh start and falls for Glenda. When Trudy, now a tabloid sensation, arrives to reclaim him, Danny must choose between his old life and newfound happiness.
