Plot

After her husband's sudden death, Joan, a timid cleaner, faces the threat of losing her home. Desperate for income, she approaches her unscrupulous boss, Fred, for more hours but instead finds herself replaced by the alluring Sharon and subsequently fired. Left with few options, Joan teams up with Sharon and her quirky friends, Enid, a feisty 65-year-old, and the anxious Mavis. Together, they create an unconventional co-op brothel, cleverly operating without sex, as they navigate the challenges of their newfound entrepreneurial venture while trying to keep Joan’s home safe.
