Plot

Amid the upheaval of 1949, the Communist takeover of mainland China forces refugees and military personnel to gather at Keelung Harbor in Taiwan. A father engages in clandestine discussions with fellow generals, hoping to reclaim their homeland. Meanwhile, his children find solace in playful moments with their grandmother, who cherishes the unity and joy they create even in tough times.
