Savages (1974)

Plot

Ben Campbell, a 22-year-old gas station worker in a remote desert town, finds an unexpected opportunity when affluent lawyer Madec recruits him as a guide for a hunting expedition. However, their trip takes a deadly turn when Madec accidentally kills a prospector and, fearing for his reputation, resolves to silence Ben. Now on the run in the unforgiving desert, Ben faces not only Madec's relentless pursuit but also the brutal elements. If he survives the ordeal, he'll have to convince a skeptical town that he’s not just another story of a hunting accident.
