Hard Boiled Yeggs (1926)

Plot

In "Hard Boiled Yeggs," recent college grad Billy West comes into a substantial inheritance, which includes a rundown cafe in a seedy neighborhood. However, a clause in the will stipulates that if Billy dies, two unscrupulous thugs will claim both his fortune and the cafe. Determined to prevent their sinister plans, the thugs employ various schemes to eliminate him. Fortunately, with the assistance of a charming young woman, Billy skillfully counters their attempts, fighting for his life and his newfound legacy.
