Plot

In this captivating installment of Republic Pictures' enduring "Red Ryder" B-Western series, the story shifts from the expected image of resilient settlers facing harsh Colorado winters. Instead, it centers on two troubled boys from Chicago, Billy Cummings and Freddie Chapman, who find refuge with Ryder's formidable aunt, "The Duchess" (Alice Fleming). Having escaped from the clutches of their criminal mentor, Bull Reagan (Roy Barcroft), the boys are offered a fresh start on the Duchess's ranch. However, Reagan soon resurfaces to engage in cattle rustling, attempting to draw the boys back into his nefarious schemes.
