Plot

As Hitler rises to power, the Glickstein family, of German-Jewish descent, gathers for an evening meal filled with tension. While some dismiss the Nazi threat as exaggerated, Leah's intent to emigrate to Palestine sparks heated discussions. Her relatives attempt to dissuade her, but the situation escalates when Michael reveals his support for the National Socialist Movement. This shocking revelation threatens to fracture familial bonds, forcing the Glicksteins to confront their differing beliefs and the grim reality of their changing world. The dinner becomes a battleground of ideology and survival.
