Plot
Following the tragic loss of his younger brother, a 19-year-old street dancer from Los Angeles finds a way to avoid juvenile detention by attending Truth University, a historically black college in Atlanta, Georgia. As he navigates his new environment, he strives to pursue his studies and impress a girl he admires. However, his aspirations take a backseat when he becomes the target of the two leading fraternities on campus, both vying for his electrifying street dance skills to gain an edge in the prestigious national step show competition.
