Plot
Amidst the oppressive atmosphere of Stalinist Poland, cabaret performer Tonia enjoys a night out with friends, only to awaken the following day in a bleak prison cell as a political prisoner. Subjected to relentless interrogation, torture, and humiliation, she resolutely resists signing a fabricated confession, determined to prove her innocence. As the years drag on, the dynamics between Tonia and her captors become increasingly intricate, revealing the psychological toll of her harrowing experience and the complexities of survival under a repressive regime.
