Plot

After spending over ten years capturing the stunning glacial river systems of Iceland and their meeting with the ocean from the air, Chris Burkard embarks on an adventurous journey across 41 of these rivers. He plans to traverse a 400km stretch of exposed sandbars that shield the rugged northern Atlantic waters along Iceland's southern coast. Equipped with just a fat bike and an inflatable raft, he is joined by experienced bike-packing and rafting enthusiasts, Steve "Doom" Fassbinder and Cameron Lawson, as they set out to explore this breathtaking terrain.
